M37 Cdn M37

Hi all , what is a common replacement oil filter number for the M37 ? Napa / Carquest or other common distributor please ? Thanks

They are the same military junior filter as used on the M38A1. Try NAPA 1010, although I believe the NAPA1100 is technically the correct one.

If you want to convert those numbers to Wix, just add a 5 to the front. Amazon carries the WIX filters.....$20.56 and you don't have to leave your house, otherwise NAPA is $22.68 full retail or $9.41 trade price.

P70 LUBER-FINER oil filters are what I use.

Here is a cross reference page to the relevant filter:
https://www.oilfilter-crossreference...vert/Wix/51100

If you take the Wix number of 51100 or Dave's number of P70, any parts warehouse will cross refer it to a suitable filter. It is just a partial flow filter anyway....best to change your oil often for best longevity of the engine. If you can't remember the last time, then it is time.
