1944 Artillery tail light
 

Another 1944 dated Artillery tail light, nice condition, I think the lamp holder has been changed for a newer style one?, no cable. £30

Kevin, has the hole for the lamp been drilled out bigger? If not, I'll take it.

Adrian, with the lamp removed, hole is 1 1/4” I’ve took a pic next to wartime light, which has same size hole, but the one I’m selling has the three fixing holes drilled.

It doesn't have the single hole for the early light either, though it does have the pressing. Rather looks like it was made like that.

It’s definitely 1944 dated and yes looks like the holes were all there from the factory, if you can let me know if you want. No worries if you don’t.

I can bring it over next mon or Tuesday if your about.

I wonder if it is post war but using wartime strap parts. The colour and the fact that the lamp is apparently original makes it look that way. Is the body dated at all?

If you still have it next week, please bring it. If somebody else wants to buy it, no problem.

I have a cable and lamp assembly and am looking for a bracket and strap to go with it but would prefer one I know is correct.

No markings on the metal parts, I guess you could fill the three holes and drill the the pressing holes.
