Coe Hill
 

I learned yesterday through Frank, that Coe Hill will no longer have an event on the Labour Day weekend. The organisers have decided to call an end. I would like to thank Dan McCaw and all those who volunteered their time and efforts to make this event possible and a success year after year. It was the largest parade of military vehicles in Canada and just happened to be in one of the smallest towns. At least there will be an OMVA event in Milton to fill the void.

Maybe it is time to get some buy-in from the Milton powers that be for an MV parade component of Steam Era? Are there about eight thousand people attending the current show that has limited military vehicle participation? :support

Sad to hear but not unexpected, there was a lot of rumour this year, a lot of long faces.

It was fun while it lasted, glad to have taken vehicles and participated.

Oh well, guess I better get the road map out and find a route to Milton this Labour Day weekend.
