M101 Cdn Manac trailer

Up for sale, my 1981 Manac built 3/4 ton trailer.
This is the type that was typically pulled behind the 5/4 Chev pickup. It has the 8 bolt GM
type 16.5 rims. Tires are heavy tread, M&S type.
Has a spare, racks in place, no tarp or bows.
Trailer is in very good condition, should get a paint job. Small areas of surface only rust, no rust through or major dings.
Pulls great behind a 1/2 ton pickup. Wired up with 12v civilian taillights and 4 prong flat trailer plug. Surge brakes not working but in place, needs master cylinder and some attention.
This is a genuine bring back from the Yugoslavian conflict, so it actually has some combat history. The CFR was run and it is confirmed.
I use this trailer weekly, it is indestructible and just the ticket for a collector or even just to use as a utility trailer. I use it for trips to the dump, firewood, picking up MV parts etc.
Now, why am I selling it you ask? Upgrade, that's all, pure and simple.
$850
PM please

cfr on Manac trailer

Chris, I've seen your name so much on this web site I feel I almost know you. I have a Manac trailer. The metal ID plate is so worn I can hardly read the details on it. Where can I locate the CFR on it? I got the trailer from Edmonton a couple of years ago and it had the Mechanized brigade stencil on the rear so I am assuming it came from the LdSH. Sorry I don't need a second. I did find a guy in Minnesota that sold Tarps for the trailer and even though postage cost more than the tarp it was still cheap. Thanks Ewen

Hi Ewen

I was fortunate in that my Manac still has original paint and markings so the CFR was clearly there. Also, when it was auctioned it also had the CFR written on with chalk or maybe paint marker (faint but there)

markings

ok thanks. I took photos of mine prior to hiding the camo with black undercoating, but no numer noted, only tire pressure and mech brigade markings. thanks E
