And then there is Jordan. Yes Sir, I have here a 12 volt negative earth 20 amp alternator. With the original generator front bracket and this bracket i hope to solve my 12 volt charging problem. The bit I'm not planning to tackle is making the shaft. I will get this made after this cvd 19 lock down ends.
The alternator lends its self to this because the bolt goes right through it. the front half of the pulley is just a pressed washer that the bolt holds on the front. I bought the alternator from Amazon. It needs a regulator as well but both are around the US$100.00 I could strip the shaft from the original armature to make the shaft. I hope this helps to pass the time if you are in "lock down". |
