Canadian WW2 Secret Agents

Hi all,

Well, seems I'm on a roll today, totally sidetracked from what I was searching for, by other links to Canadians, WW2, and POWS that came up. Here is a good topic for MLU ... our Canadian Secret Agents of WW2.

Endless learning to Canadians in WW2 isn't there?

Camp X

Karmen,

I hear that the folks at CampX have a good display of the spy stuff, and how many agents were trained in Oshawa in WW2.

They have an open house the same day as the OMVA summer show - the last weekend in May. I shall be there if you want to drag Jifferoo out to that one.

See you there.

Parade in Oshawa

Karmen,

I will have my Carrier at the Oshawa event.

The OMVA gang tells me that there will be a parade of historic military vehicles from the OMVA show to CampX. They certainly have evough jeeps, trucks and tanks to make a nice parade if they are allowed to get them all out.

We'll be there

Ottawa is iffy at the moment, but we'll be at Oshawa for sure.

Oshawa-Ottawa

Hi Stewart,

I've just been informed that I've been confusing the Ottawa/Oshawa events ...

I'd love to see that OSHAWA parade (I got that right this time? Eh? :D ) so I hope that happens then! I also certainly hope I'll be in better shape by then (Arthur-itis or whatever the hell I have has been a real problem the last couple of months) and that the weather is warm and dry. I've just been told that Oshawa is only about a half hour drive from here, so we'll definately be there ... hurrah.

...and of course, as ever, I really look forwrd to meeting a lot of MLU people there, and seeing you again... with your Carrier this time!!! I hope you will allow me to pet your Carrier and sit in it? LOL (Do you have a pic posted in here of it?)

Hello :)

Sometimes the Canadian elite forces were also related to the US Armed Forces. I wonder if the Canadians cooperated or served in the US OSS?

Best regards

C. :)
