Great find, I hope it will get restored!

m606paz 31-08-20 15:41

Hi Hanno
This truck is salvageable and you would think it could fit on an F15A with no problem.
But the community of enthusiasts of these vehicles here in Argentina is small and the current economic situation does not help to get into a restoration project.

What a great find, and thanks for sharing so many interesting detail photographs. I also hope it is rescued for restoration. A 3 ton CMP would be a good donor for all the missing driveline parts.

I agree . If that vehicle was in Australia it would be quickly recovered and stored away for restoration.

Saddly , this FAT belong to a Province Goverment and hard to buy because the burocracy is high to an easy and happy end to have the truck.

Thanks for sharing the photos, looks like the doors didn't have the standard stamped pattern on the inside panel, although I do know the later ones had a different more minimal pattern.

Thanks for that, we did not get the late type doors here as we were using the locally designed and made canvas doors later in the war.

m606paz 29-12-20 23:51

About Gotfredson Plate, serial 151... mean is the body 151 built?
If that is the meaning, the number of bodies built is greater than what we believed up to now.
