I got a Sherwin sample today.
No. definately not that color. This is green forest and is almost identical to FS34094 and does not the LSVW color.

Our color is more like 34095

Green bronze color. Very Similar to MB G-wagen color.

G-Wagen green:
Forest Green FS34095 ;-) = ? MB 6431 bronce green (mate)

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/g-cl...olor-code.html

FS34084 Look like the GMC 5/4 ton truck color in the 80'.
Noticed the PPG industrial is not as mate as the Sherwin. Its a litte satin.
I ll tell the code once I contact my seller.

The PPG industrial reprensentative has been computered matched and did a little adjustment. He can rematch it and readjst to get even closer. Hope get there soon to do it again for closer result. Also the matched paint is more like semi mat-satin, not mate as sherwin sample. It cannot be closer finish cause the material is made like this..
Finally there is no code for that matched paint. They dont give recipe. I ll look with him the FS34095 look like vs the new matched paint.

EDIT:
Some trucks has been repainted FS34094 but depend the supplier. Other truck kept light green, like mine. There is some variations of the FS34094 color.

Unfortunately it appears that APM Diesel doesn't want to sell to end-users - at least by the look of the page above. Anybody have any success dealing with them?

Brake master cylinders seem to be a real issue. Saw a bunch of trucks with the masters removed, including one I have here at work. Anybody had any luck sourcing them?

Sourced from Uk

I have just bought new master cylinder from https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/

Due to arrive in a week. Shipped from Germany, website in the UK. A rep phoned me to verify the parts before shipping due to the distance.

I bought a Bosch NOS booster from Jim's Junk. http://jimsjunk.ca/. Arrived in a week, and was as described.

Does anyone have info on the original tools supplied with the LSVW?

I am in need of a steel rim and tire to act as a spare. Spare was missing on purchase. I have Michelin ZXL 9.00R16s on 16x6.5 6 Lug - 170 mm BC with a 130 mm centre hole.

Michelin is not producing this tire anymore. I can source the rim from the UK, but would prefer surplus as its just a spare.

For interest, I have seen 3 "in service" LSVWs pass by on semi-trailers in the past week as part of some mobilization to Shilo, MB...

Thanks all,

Rob

LSVW parts

Right now your best option is to buy a couple of donor LS' to part behind the shed and strip for parts. In a few year's time, someone will need the parts you have on the rolling parts rack. Shop at GCSurplus.ca
