Bren gun Cover/bag? complete cover/bag in WW2?

Some months ago, my father and I were searching for a Bren cover/bag on the Wings and Wheels militaria fair at Ursel, Belgium.
Sadly we were only able to find some covers/bags for the spare barrel, but not for the complete gun and they were being sold for astronomic prices.

My father is interested in a cover to fit the complete (assembled) Bren Gun. He has seen one before owned by a fellow enthusiast, but we are not sure if this cover was tailor made or if it is WW2 mass produced.

Does anyone know more on this subject? Has there ever been a cover/bag for the complete Bren in WW2? Does anyone where to find one?

regards,

Alex

IMA

Alex,

I was just on the IMA site and they have these covers ( along with US$125 2 gallon Vickers MG cooling water tins ! ) in stock.

They come up for sale on eBay all the time, mostly for less money that IMA.

The part I got many years ago for my Bren was a left over Australian bit.

If this very long link works it shows all the known models of Bren covers.
