Heads Up DEW diesel snowmobile
Usual disclaimer, no connection whatsoever.
I am surprised it took so long for one to come up but here you go Spoke to the seller. He has two and is keeping one, good runner he says with low hours. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details...dId=1467245238 |
D900
You do not want that unless you're jonesing for a half ton sled.
Lots of torque for towing but a real pig to drive. |
Kubota d 902 engine, was wondering...

Don,
Interesting you make that statement. I found another 2 of these machines in Ontario this week and hope to visit with their owner and them this winter and get some seat time. he has stated that these machines are tractor like in their ability to pull heavy loads on open ice or hard packed snow. In deep snow they are a heavy boat anchor was his basic description. If anyone has any anecdotes of these machines I am all ears and any technical material and knowledge is always well received by this forum or email or brown bag. |
Same but not same. My father in law had a Skidoo Skandic 1000cc 4 stroke. While not a speed demon it was certainly one of the most powerful work horse machines out there. It all comes down to purpose. Kinda like comparing a sport car to a truck, it depends on need. Personally I think a diesel snowmobile that can pull down a shack is a pretty interesting machine, especially if you want something to work the bush with
