Tripods for M1917 cloth belt-fed MGs are bought and sold in the US. You just need to find the right place to look.

Yes, I am aware that these are sold in the US (such as IMA) but prices went through the roof the last decade or so and shipping costs to Europe makes such a deal
even less attrative. And apparently Europeans ones are sold in the US 'because the bring more money' as one European seller explained to me.
