OMVA Executive Positions - Call For Nominations for President, Secretary and Membership Coordinator

To all OMVA members,

As of November 10th, nominations are open for 3 of the 5 elected positions, President, Secretary and Membership Coordinator for the 2023-2024 term. Emails have been sent to all current OMVA members explaining the nomination and election process. Similar information may be found on the OMVA website omva.ca under "Home - News".

To all OMVA Members:

Nominations for the positions of President, Secretary and Membership Coordinator have now closed.

As only one nomination was received for each position, Les Fisher for President, Duncan Curd for Secretary, and Mel Gabel for Membership Coordinator, an election is not necessary and they are acclaimed in their positions, with their 2 year terms to expire at the end of 2024.
Les and Mel are returning to the positions they have held and we are pleased to welcome Duncan as a newcomer on the Executive.

The full OMVA Executive for 2023 is:

Vice President, Barry Churcher, term expires end of 2023
Secretary, Duncan Curd, term expires end of 2024
Membership Coordinator, Mel Gabel, term expires end of 2024
Treasurer, Brian Olivieri, term expires end of 2023
Webmaster, Jennifer Morgan, non elected, no expiry
CMP Magazine Editor, Terry Witiuk, non elected, no expiry
