That equipment is about 25-miles from where I grew up. Not surprised to see an industrial conversion. There were a couple of small town garages that had SMPs as tow trucks. I know of another business that bought post-war reserve stock trucks from St-Helen's Island (or was it Nun's Island) ordnance parks, and ran them into the ground as snowplows.

Looks very original apart the crane...
Certainly worth saving but would be a costly proposition to strip the heavy crane parts on site to recover the truck bare essentials. At the price of scrap right now, it's a loose/loose proposition. wonder what the serial number was and if the aluminum plate is still on or available.... they tend to get lost when the engine cover comes off.
