Any post or pics to know about the correct oil bath air cleaner are installed on all Ford CMP Cab 13 carburator?

Hi Mariano,

Here are pictures of an original air cleaner and the original mounting clamp for a Ford cab 13. I have also included a photo of the original servicing decal on a NOS Canadian filter. Most after market ones reads "Made in USA" not Canada. I used that type on my restored filter as was the only type available.

Of interest also is the clip used on the radiator shroud for the chassis wiring harness. Never knew there was one there. Looks like another metal bending job for me.

Hi Mariano,

It is 8 1/4" high and exactly 9" in diameter.

Yes, good ones are getting hard to find. The old oil and water that is left inside them often eats out the bottoms.

The clamp may be easier to find. I looked at the parts manual and both the clamp and clamp screw are generic Ford part numbers (no asterisk in front of them)

Unfortunately the air cleaner is unique to Ford CMP vehicles- part No. *C29Q 18205 so doubt if any after market Ford parts sellers would reproduce them.

This is the cleaner i found, but the botton need an adapter to put on carb.
