a41

morning Richard I do have a complete A41 set in my collection and that antenna is not MOD kit...possibly something rigged up...cheers malcolm

cheers... wonder why Donald did not use the correct base for the set other than most MOD stuff being bulky and not exactly streamlined... anyone able to ID it as a particular brand or model...or perhaps made bespoke ?

Malcolm do you have any spare batteries for it ? they don't need to be working ?

A41

Richard ariel comes out of the top of the A41..although there was also a remote facility..batteries are like rocking horse s**t...Indian Army bought the original factory making parts from South-Shields many many years ago..so you need somebody with connections to Indian Army...otherwise contact Radio Mike...aka Mike Stott in Ovingham he can do a moderen conversion!cheers malcolm :salute:

yeah they just need the case from one, the radio will not be working again but needs to look correct. the battery in K7 was removed from the radio and strapped underneath the set, then a link wire made up.

Richie, do you have an A41 for the project ? that was the first radio i was trained on.Let me know if you need one !

they do have one Shaun all be it....its jiggered... and minus a proper battery case the original is still in the bottom of the lake they are heavy little things, that combined with crashing at over 300mph was a recipe for it never to be seen again.

If you have anything at all Shaun drop me a phone call or text etc and we will get something jacked up...
