A useless piece of information I know but the paper/card cup is a cartridge cap that was inserted into the end of the 25 pdr brass cartridge to keep the contents clean and dry before it was fired !

Been a while since I've updated this. but work has continued. Looking forward to some cooler weather to get cranking again!
