Robert.......think back on your Summer runs.....on people's front lawn........ don't you remember seeing some Bathtub Marys........... very popular after the 1950 devotion to the Roseries and pilgrimage of the time......

There is one I can photograph just a few miles from my place........

As a child I was always perplexed by those things on the roadside. Not being raised Catholic, it made no sense to put up places to pray.
