WD Numbers

Recently found a file with the WD numbers allotted to captured and commandeered vehicles. Too many pages to photocopy but if anyone has a specific request I can look it up.
Does anyone know of a 'master' file of WD numbers allotted to Allied production vehicles for WWII?

Hi,

on the British 'B' vehicles number blocks allotted to both production, foreign troops, local issued numbers etc. I have a reproduction of a 1944 list (app. 90 pages), but the supplement with about 4 (?) pages, I have had in my hands, but was not alowed to copy. See my website: www.grouchoupublishing.co.uk for details. Retail price is GB Pounds 11.50 excl. P&P.
The Canadian entries are limited to just the number blocks as issued to Canada, no further details.

Thanks,

Rob

HI,

No it is on 'B' vehicles only: most tracked vehicle had an AFV task, hence these were 'A' vehicles.

BR,

Rob
