Triumph TRW Tool
Hello All,
I'm looking for a special wrench that came with the Triumph TRW for adjusting the valves. I do not have a picture of the tool but I can try to describe it for anyone who may have some old military motorcycle tools. I believe it is a smaller flat wrench about the size of a standard 7/16 in length. It has small saw like teeth on one side and opposite to that is a 1/4 inch hole that fits on a dowel. The tool is use for adjusting the valves. I'm sure I could use a screw driver and tap it along but... :fry: Thanks for any info or replies. |
I'd use the screwdriver.
However.....someone gave me one a wee while back that I would loan for use or copy if your other searches come up empty. Also - Try the Paris bike show on Sat, 18June. f |
Wow thanks.
Do you have any pictures? For now I will keep searching but if nothing arises I will take you up on your offer. I will talk to some people at the local college where I work to see what it would take to make one. Could be of use to others. Thanks again. |
But...But...That's OUTSIDE...and it's cold...

You can see the little wrench in his hand. This is not a magic tool and is frankly not much better than a screwdriver. When I gave mine to Charlie I would say he was "underwhelmed". |
Thanks for the replies.
It is the type that is shown in the image Jim45 posted. Also. I'm in no rush for an actual image. Since it finally snowed I've finally got to use my 1970 Ariens this week. Still throws snow 15' after 46 years. |
Yep - same on Jim45 gave me. I'll get out there soonish.
