Hi Tim,

Good quality reproduced manuals on this, and many other items, can be bought through www.robvanmeel.nl. A manual is always a good place to start.

Cheers,

Thanks for the advice - I've known Rob for many years - have had my howitzer at Oosterbeek in the past - though I suspect I have more manuals on this particular subject than he does ;-)

Unfortunately many of the photos in the repro manuals are not very clear... and the originals arent much better - so more often than not a modern picture is the only way to work it out.

Cheers

Tim

My Pack Howitzer a few years back... along with the other 2 owned by friends... all 3 have on occasion been firing in the arena at the War and Peace show.

Hi Tim,

Then I have seen them go "BOEM" a couple of times. Are you coming to the new show this year?

Cheers,

Not this year - I decided last year I'd not go back to W&P this year - have another commitment now and therefore cannot go event though it will be year one in a new place. Am sure it will be good - easier to pop to France for more wine - and wish I had the time to go now.

Hope to get the paperwork in place to go to Holland for 70th.

Tim
