Parts

Hey Derk

I dont have the parts you want to trade, however I would be interested in what price you may ask for what you have as I have 2 CMP's and 2 Carriers that I am working on.

I think there was a cmp inspection lamp the other day on Ebay that didn't sell. Out of BC if I recall. I think I have one out in the shed as well.

Inspection lamp

Hi Gary,
While I am always short of money and should sell some stuff,it never seems to go back into the collection but goes towwards something silly like house insurance. My house insurance is due on Friday and I have to put out $750.00.
I would rather stick to trading for pieces I need.

Rob,
I had seen that light on ebay but it is the clam type and I already have that one.I am looking for the birdcage type of inspection lamp. What is the proper one? I see by most CMP tool checklists that the birdcage type is shown. Is the clam type also proper or is this for another vehicle?

The manual is taken and the inspection lamp I am waiting to hear back from Alan if he has the lamp I am looking for.The blackout can and the bulbs are still available.
Derk.

The clamshell is an american thing. We were still issuing them not that long ago with the M109s and M113s.

I have the birdcage type with the wooden handle. One original CMP trouble light I found was a rubberized handle with an adapter in the 100V type lamp socket to accept a 6 volt bulb. It was part of the kit from that 3 ton I picked up in Saskatchewan years back that included the compressor airline and the tool box amongst other things.

compressor airline

Rob,
Do you still have the compressor airline?I would like to see an original one to make a copy for my 3 ton as it will have the compressor on the truck. So the clam light is not correct for the CMP's or not common? The plug looks like it will fit but haven't tried it yet.Do you have a spare trouble light to trade off?
Derk.

Derk
The clamshell type is not correct, although the plug is identical.

We can work something out on the light when you get out this way for a visit.

The airline went with the 3 ton I sold you years back. It was still hanging on the gun mount IIRC.
