They might have been seen before...but what the hell!
First two are in the Netherlands. Not sure where the third one is. But obviously a Mortar Carrier. Ron |

Ron, Nice pictures, you often see mortar carriers with the stacey on the back.
Cant make out the writing on the front of the Lyod. Found these pics recently. kev. |

Nice Bren pictures Stephen, where did you find those?
Couple from me. A Scout with some light tanks and some bikes abandoned at Dunkirk for Ron Theres always a steady stream of carrier pictures on eBay but most have a sellers watermark. They can be quite useful but are spoilt a little due to the watermark. Shall we post them on this thread and have a rolling original/period photo thread? it would be a stream of new material...... Hello Ben.
Have picked them up over the years wherever I can find them, some may have appeared in books already but the more we can put out the better. Stephen |

One you don't see very often. Abandoned in Dunkirk. I don't think any survive today.

Couple of interesting ones there. I like the LP1's ?? In the workshop, the canvas light cover on the Bren (not seen that listed in the parts book) and I don't fancy going swimming in a carrier......
Ben |
Technically speaking they don't swim but rather wade... Sorry I will get my coat :-)

I was thinking what the crew were about to be doing rather than the carrier. Both look pretty uncomfortable!! Ben |
