These prototypes were featured in an article in one of the Convoy magazines.

The trouble with the kijiji links is that the expire quickly unless you happen to be checking this section on a very regular basis. Here's a copy/paste way to show everyone the advert .This one from July 28.2014..

Looks "well-used" but on the road, as opposed to most of the other Jeeps listed on Kijiji. And, I don't know the seller.

A 106mm RCL split windshield. I know where there is a restored 106, but the vehicle has a few peculiar differences in order to safely transport the gun. Mine is not an RCL carrier.

M1010 Ambulance
 

If he is selling the unit for $3400 it is a good price. In Carlton place a guy has been trying to sell one for over a year, he started at $8500 and the last I heard he was at $4900. But, beat up, lots of repair and lots of miles.
I will be posting my M1010 soon and it is in excellent condition, safetied and licensed for the road. It has all the equipment and has been converted to 12 V.
For those that don`t know the M1010 had a dual electrical system that was continously causing problems with the electrical system.

Right now the market for the 1 1/4 truck is going a little crazy and prices are on the rise, reason non-availability. There are no more for sale on GL, right now a parts truck is worth about $1200, a licnsed picKup M1008 is going for $5500 TO $7000. I know it sounds crazy, but that is where the market is going. Now if you want a good truck you have to pay for it.

Not mine, and don't know the seller. Looks like $8k will get you at least one complete M38 and a declining number of others. A fellow would need plenty of room and an illustrated parts manual to get this show on the road.
