I mounted the 11 set in its carrier tray today and onto an original bracket used in a mk1 universal carrier, so it's all ready to go in, I made up some "shock mounts" as per originals. Earth straps applied, I need to repair the tray at some point to colour match it to the set.

On to the next project.

Hi mike, no I haven't, it's in exceptional condition inside, but one of the valves is broken, I no radio expert so it's for show use only, but maybe one day it will live again.

That is a pretty good result . What type of resin did you use ?

The originals do suffer from some form of degeneration and fade , I have some 11 set meter covers that have a yellowy foggy appearance .

Mike, I going to have another go, try and get rid of the air bubbles. Remould it the other way up, will post some pics and give details of the resin used.
