Well… I'm a little bit disappointed to see how fast you can change your focus but let's say I can understand if there are big guns around with very tiny canvas on them. I heard rust is not a big problem in this part of the world! The more I think, the more I could be distracted too.

Got it, thanks Rob. Since there is already a connection in the 460/461 wire at the firewall, the fuse can be installed without cutting the wire. This sure beats the cost of replacing a flasher unit if a fault occurs. Also as Chris mentioned, it is way better than having a fire.

If I need a carb kit to restore mine, do I go on eBay or elsewhere. Like everything else, is there quality grades in these things?

eBay is a place where people sell stuff.

• Often it is where dealers and merchants advertise their day-to-day merchandise. eBay is how they advertise.
  
• You might get a really good deal from a guy like any one of us who is reselling an extra part or piece. Someone who isn't trying to squeeze the last penny out of the sale but doesn't need it anymore.
  
• You might get a worthless and unreliable counterfeit part made by a sweatshop in another country.
  
• Or, you might get true New Old Stock parts that have been warehoused for decades and are being sold off one at a time by someone who is in the business of selling old stuff. The risk of course is that old parts do deteriorate over time, natural rubber is one thing that doesn't have an indefinite shelf life.

That is the beauty and the risk of ebay. Welcome to the hobby!

I order my carb kits from John at Midwest military. I also stay away from the gasahol and stick to premium for my fuel.

Does anyone know the amp rating of the fuse pictured in post #63? Thanks in advance for the help.

I can't say for the M38A1, but for the M151A2 it is a 5 amp fuse.
