Nice pic, good to see the inside of the door has a liner. This wasn't the case on all Cab 11's and 12's.

Bob, my Cab11/12 has internal door liners. Funny how some do, some don't.

Seems the Chevrolet cab 12s we see here usually have them but the Australian order Fords don't, so perhaps the deletion is something to do with our deliveries as your F15 was likely brought here after service somewhere else.

CBI theatre image: I think it has to be Rangoon (there are tramlines visible) after the Japanese were ousted.

Music clip

Excellent find Harlé!

Both music clips and the music itself were far more gentle in 1962 weren't they?

Well spotted Harle, a short 101" wheel base Ford or Chev. The rear body is certainly not an original. Very nice singer and song too. The stockings brought back a few memories as well.

Regards Rick.

But it's not until you get up close to the background that you realise that these should be in the "Under new management" thread!

Great stuff, shows how much the German Army had to rely on capturing equipment to keep on fighting.

Not only the truck, but also the pictures seems to have been "captured". If you spend some time searching on the internet, many if not most of these photos can be found online. Looks like this seller's business is reselling photos found in the public domain....

I saw this in the IWM.

It looks to be a CMP of 8 cwt no doubt 4x2 so unwanted by the Army late in the war?

The markings suggest the truck above is being used for meal delivery after having been presented/paid for/sponsored by "the people of Malta" to "the people of Britain". Disaster relief... from one set of bombed people to another.
