Don't let Hanno hear you say that or I might be left all alone to deal with you lot :fry: :D

I'm glad to hear from some of you that things are working fine again. This is weird, isn't it? Oh well ... I'm just glad things seem to work right now, and hope it keeps working for us all ;)

Amazing. I'm still accessing no problems at all and am getting all the notifications and emails no problem again as far as I can tell. Of course I AM still using the alternative link as I finally bookmarked it. Although I can now access MLU again through the links in the notifications so I assume the normal link is hunky dory works fine again.

Everyone else still accessing and getting thier notifications and all okay again? (just checking)

Every function is working on the original link down here in Georgia. Even the access time is close to zero seconds.

Better keep Jiff Down Under or it might get tempermental again.

Thanks for the feedback Bill :)

And yes, tis very mysterious indeed why MLU seems fine now and how that timing synchronizes with Geoff leaving. Hmmmmm ... i's all his fault? :D

Weird MLU happenings :D

Hllo All,

I just thought it would be interesting to note that since the Sunray has returned from Australia, my notifications are once again "straggling in" ... sometimes a day or two late, again!!!

What is it about you Sunray, that makes my notifications go astray for a while? :D

Well, obviously...

...this must mean he's better off being here. ;)

To the Powers That Be ...... ;

I haven't received any 'Email Notifications' in sometime now. I checked my 'user cp' and the box is checked to receive them, but nothing ......

... I guess 'Old Soldiers' do just fade away .......

Hi Mark:
Just to upset you, I just got an email notification regarding your post.
Seriously, I had to go to IE, settings, privacy and make MLU some sort of accepted site regarding, I guess, cookies, before I started getting email notification again.
I can't explain it further but someone can lead you through it.
Bill :bang:

Hi Mark,

I know I'm old and therefore so must my brain be old :D but didn't you get a whole new computer setup some time back, and is the new computer timing and delayed notifications timing about the same time?

I still have problems with getting delayed notifications straggling in. Time lags can be a LONG time (several days and more sometimes)

I also wonder if new programs, automatic updates and/or upgrades of the browsers means this older version of software for MLU just doesn't work properly anymore.

There has been talk about Upgrading the forum software (which is from year 2000 I think, and outdated, soon, but I don't know "how soon" this upgrade is going to happen. Gotta ask Master Sunray now he's back from Oz

Geez ... I was sure a lot of help here, eh? :D
