Mike, thanks for posting the photo. I was starting to wonder myself if I was really there. I even came home with a prize to prove my attendance. I thought I talked to most everyone there but it is obvious I missed a few. There were so many interesting conversations going on it was hard to get around. It seems I was talking to Phil Waterman and didn't know who he was. Brian had asked me to give him his regards. Maybe next year we should have name tags. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the number of young people in attendance, including the Caldwells.
They will carry this hobby on when us old farts won't know the difference between a CMP seat cover and a Depends. :confused
Cheers,
Barry

I would also like to say a big Thank You to Jeff and Dan and their families for the entier weekend.

I had a great time as usual and got to finaly meet so many of the faces behined the names here. Yes Barry was there I we spoke for a bit on CMPs and other related stuff.

The 19set clinic was also great. The only downside is I am now more affraid of the thing then before. I can't plead ignorance anymore!

The 4 C15a's in attendance. The first two people I unfourtunatly don't remember their names. The rest are L to R , Gordon Yeo, Jon Skagfeld and Dan Caldwell

Thanks again
Sincerely
Jordan Baker

An amazing thing became evident, upon comparing the data plates of Gordon Yeo's C15-A and mine...our chassis numbers were but 19 numbers apart, both having been built on the same contract, on the same day (13 Jun 44!).

Mike McKinley estimated that, at the rate of flow of the production lines at GM Oshawa, that these two vehicles were probably about 6 minutes apart.

Hi Jordan..
Leaning on the C15A is Walter Brand and standing beside him is Albert Bain..two of the most amazing restorers in our hobby..THey rebuilt that C 15A and that beautiful Cab 11 Ford guntractor from nothing. The FAT was there last tear and blew every one away...Albert is a master machinist and Walter and his son are both skilled trades people in welding, metal processing, sheet metal and on and on...They have a complete work shop and turn out every part that they need them selves, even to the springs in the machine...
I have an invite down to visit them in September when I go down that way for a reunion ...They are in Petrolia,Ontario...
I am going to go for sure..
