Blue Nuts
Hi all, including all you mockers of my information.
Red nuts - we all know the usage of those. White painted on the face of the nut only denotes a R/H thread. Blue painted on the face of the nut only denotes a L/H thread. This information was gleaned from The Guru, Lawrie Winney, who had many years ago spoken to a guy that had blue nuts on a vehicle. The colour appeared to be genuine military as the history of the vehicle had been researched and that blue colour was there when the military demobbed the vehicle. Bob |
