Hello Kostas!
Great to see how you are progressing with the HUW. I still have to do a few things to mine to complete it like the rear seat bases and the rear door fold down table. Phil... :salute: |

Hi Phil! How are you? Where have you been? :yappy:
I have the same missing parts like you.. Well... not only these but many many more... :whinge Let me show you what we've done those days.. It was really hard to work in the cold workshop. We finished the rear door window frame, and we changed a rotten strap at the right door over the driver's head. One of the many deficiencies that we had to face was the total absence of the divider wall between the driver's cabin and the radio compartment.
So we had to reconstruct it from zero level with sheet metal. Attachment 47741Attachment 47742Attachment 47743Attachment 47744Attachment 47745 The WS19 radio table started to taking shape also.. Can you see the BSA chorehorse at the fourth photo? :D |

Hello! Happy New Year to all!
I know that it's been a long time since my last post here but I assure all of you that I didn't give away and I wasn't lazy at all! Here are a couple of photos to show the current status of the cab. The weather was fine here, In stark contrast to the frightening images of glaciers in North America we saw in the responses sent to us by Bob Carriere and Rob Clark. I want to believe that the worst is over. .. Attachment 62735Attachment 62736Attachment 62737 More to come soon.. :salute: |

Thanks Hanno!
There hasn't been much progress from my last post but a lot of stuff has been gathered since the beginning of the year which I haven't shown. The most important development is the completion of the refurbishment of the GM6 engine. I will post all the work ..after repainting the engine! So, here I have the Roof Hatch before and after sundblasting, and the spraying with the primer. One pair of the springs has been removed! (..but I have it somewhere and I will put it in place!) Well done Kostas. Good to see you have progressed with your C8A.

Enjoyed seeing the progress
Hi Kostas
"Some... secret holes have been revealed above the lights of each side!" The birds in Greece must build their nest in different locations, on both of my Pat 13s the holes were under the headlights and in both cases there was evidence of birds nests. Progress is looking good it is going to a really good restoration when it is all done. Cheers Phil |
