Why do you think the track section was put in the wall?

Its just for the remembrance I guess. There is also british mug in the wall few meters away.

The 1938 Bren No2 Mk1 in private hands in Christchurch. I have a photo on my shed wall (probably pre war) It was brush camo painted, in service, and the current owner repainted by trying to follow the brush marks that he could see. It has never been blasted.

I grabbed this from an article I put together:

The singular carrier ordered by Canada and the six ordered by New Zealand were sequential. Canada received HMH241 (T2688) and New Zealand’s six were HMH242 to HMH247 (T2689 to T2694). These seven carriers were designated Carrier, Bren No 2 Mk I which was a slightly later development than the Armoured MG that went to Australia and was built to carry the recently adopted Bren gun. HMH243 and HMH244 (T2690 and T2691) survive today, both in NZ and are the only known British Bren carriers left on the planet. (Note: Only Britain and NZ built Bren carriers).

HMH243 T2960. In the old photo it is "V" or at that time Govt.4320. Our number plates changed yearly up to 1940. HMH243 was the original British registration.
The vehicle identification plate on HMH243 is likely the only one left in existence. Early in WWII, most armoured fighting vehicles had the manufacturer’s details ground off the plates so that captured vehicles didn’t give the enemy the factory address.

Shitty year this 2020, but now I got at least some time for a play.
My spare boogie wheel had got few deep dents on the rubber so I tried to make it a bit prettier. Have in the storage some kind of PUR compound so why not to test it? (Complete rerubbering is a waste of money here I guess)
Im rather happy with the result, looks definitely better now and if you want to use it more like spare wheel its not a bad idea for a cheap repair.

What kind of material did you use to repair the wheels?

Adam, its PUR compound called Gaform (not sure if you can obtain it abroad). This is not professional rerubbering, but good for small dents if you dont count with heavy use.

With Adam's and Rik's help I was able to make few more small parts during the Christmas break.
All metal work on sidewall Bren/rifle brackets and PIAT bracket is done now, hopefuly I will be able to finish them soon - I realized that Im out of the underpaint and all color shops are currently closed due to covid :doh:

Just small "home office" job - wire hole protective covers. I was lazy to make a model and wait for the casting, so made them in redneck style.

Test fit of covers and new aerial base holders.

Finished. Now is time to slowly start another piece of the puzzle (thank you Michael R).

OK, I have the rubber mounting, a damaged connector plate that you may be able to fix (new paxolin) or use as a pattern, and I will include some cable and ring terminals (etc.) to make the aerial feeder out of when you start to install a wireless set.

Apologies for the delay, but I haven't been near the post office for nearly a year due to this pandemic.

Life keeps me busy these days, but at least small progress with the skirts.

Im incredibly slow these days, but finaly something for the skirts done.

Finaly we had some public fun during 100th anniversary of our veterans organization - the Czechoslovak Legionaries Association.

Another public show this year - chilling on the airfield with the company of the beautiful planes.

This small project has been postponed many times but finally finished today. It went surprisingly well and took maybe 30 minutes all together :)

Finally started some prep-work on the side skirts. After three tries I can say its almost spot on :)
