Or go to the ad here on MLU for contact details of Michiel van Roode who is in direct contact with the owner (who due to his age isn't online very often):

The current owner Roland acquired and prepared it to do a long overland trip, but that project fell through. Being technically restored, this gives the new owner a "blank canvas" to finish it in the colour and markings of choice. This is the text from the advertisement:

For Sale: Chevrolet C8A HUP PUTR-2 (Manufactured: June 1944)

This rare HUP PUTR-2 is in excellent, original condition and has been fully restored mechanically. Over the past few months, the following work has been completed:
- Brand new brake system;
- New fuel system;
- Completely new lighting;
- Original 216 engine tuned;
- All rubbers replaced;
- New tyres;
- Chassis has been repainted;
- New exhaust.

The engine starts effortlessly on the 'button'. Everything is lubricated and filled with fresh oil. The side windows, original interior curtains and pioneer tools are included. Original seats and replica bench are in place. The body is original and rust-free. There are a few minor dents that can be addressed, and after a fresh paint job of your choice, the vehicle will be ready for the 2025 Liberation Events.

The car has a Dutch road registration and is being sold due to another project. For serious inquiries please contact via email. The vehicle is located near Deventer, The Netherlands.

Price upon request.

Roland also has a cut-down 1942 C8A civilian wrecker for spares or repair. I expect this will be available for sale also:

Erik & Niek Baecke in Belgium are the new owners. Read their restoration blog here: https://hmvf.co.uk/topic/46824-1944-...sonnel-putr-2/

Egbert, Alex and myself had the pleasure of visiting the Baecke’s last month. This was the first time I saw a C8A in ex-service condition - impressive. This truck is in very capable hands with father and son, they have restored a large number of Dodges and motorcycles to a very high standard.
